This elegant boutique hotel was once a hat factory and now boasts a popular after-work rooftop lounge and some of the best views in town. It has a retractable roof, so make sure to go on a Warm night and enjoy the outdoors. Cocktails, Lunch and Dinner served.
2)Rooftop Garden at Hotel Giraffe(/Midtown East).
Contemporary decor and a Calm vibe can be found on 12th floor outdoor rooftop visited by locals and visitors alike.
3) Bar 65(Rainbow Room/Midtown)
The highest terrace in NYC — floor 65, this is an opp to dress up a bit and have a “fancy” NYC cocktail experience. Spectacular views await as does a pricey drink. But hey, you are going to the legendary Rainbow Room!

This is NOT outdoors, yet the 6th floor of the contemporary Wythe Hotel, can always boast a hip crowd in a beautiful industrial space, with magnificent views of Manhattan. Small plates and great cocktails.
