The First Annual New York Festival of Light


If you are coming to New York City next week, this is not to miss! The first annual New York Festival of Light (NYFOL) will come alive next week on November 6, 7, and 8 in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Local and international lighting designers and technologists that work with the medium of light will be enhancing NYC’s architecture through interactive, static and  projected lighting installations.

Last year, artists tested their ideas in a small preview at Elizabeth Street Garden in order to prepare for this years festival. This preview was a small teaser building nothing but anticipation over the past year for the cities first Light Festival. The festival will also featuring food trucks and a DJ-what’s not to enjoy!

This cultural and unique presentation will take place after dark in DUMBO, Brooklyn, New York, in the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge at the Pearl Street Triangle (Pearl & Water St). What a breathtaking way to spend a fall evening in New York City. Support your local artists simply by attending, as the event is free to all.

Thursday November 6th: 7pm-11pm
