What to Expect on a NYC Sweet 16 or Teen Shopping Program with Shop Gotham
Teens love to shop. Indeed they do. On a recent Shop Gotham program in SoHo/Nolita, 12 teens from Cleveland returned home with bags ablaze with goodies and certainly no one broke the bank or worse, angered their parents!
They commenced their day at an indoor market for young indie designers. 30 designers under one roof offer everything from leather jackets to candles.
Then on to 8 more NYC cool stores which offered selections the girls could not find at home.
Along the way, their fashionable guide regaled them with stories about the area of Soho and Nolita – once a thriving art community, shared fashion tips, helped select pieces which were just right for the season and pointed out where celebrities live.
The 3 hours concluded with special cupcakes for the honoree from a famous tv bakery
