have offered privileges not available to the independent shopper.
What is a Shopping Tour?
Shop Gotham is NOT a Personal Shopping Service. Our programs are designed for VISITORS to NYC. The objective is to give shoppers
the advantages of an insider’s knowledge and resources to shop what is NOT ACCESSIBLE to the public, or what is new and exciting and often exists only in NYC. Things change here in a “NYC minute,” but we know what is where and what’s what.
NYC is vast; each block and neighborhood dominated by retail. When visiting, it’s difficult to know where the emerging fashion
stores are, which neighborhoods offer what options, and where those coveted sample sales might be. NYC is also the home to hundreds of designers, but access to their showrooms is typically limited to Store Buyers and Fashion Editors. Until now.

The 3-hour Garment Center Insider Shopping Tour opens the doors to Designer Showrooms where participants can buy current season items at WHOLESALE, a Special Access opportunity usually afforded only to store buyers.

Custom programs are designed to suit the whims, style and budget of the client. Want to keep a group of teenagers happy? Our Sweet 16’s take them to shops that smack of teen fashion TODAY. Student Education “lite” programs will satisfy both the teacher and students, with content rich itineraries which target either Retail marketing/merchandising or Design, in the heart of the industry.
